School Age Program

Transportation is provided from all elementary schools except Iola Roberts, from which children ride Bus 12 to the center. During this after-school program, children are provided further opportunities for learning and play as well as assisted with their homework. 

 

Our elementary age program is designed to offer children the opportunity to fully experience an enjoyable summer adventure. From planned thematic activities, musical and artistic creations to competitive sports encounters, there is always something happening.

We fully believe that summer is a time for travel and our program provides various filed trip outings. Day Camp 2008 hit the road for such places as Lookout Mountain Wild Animal Park, Tigers for Tomorrow, Oak Mountain, Camp Sumatanga, The American Village, Rosa Parks Museum, and The Civil Rights Museum.
